System Requirements
Local AI inference is highly demanding on device hardware. Moonlight uses optimized llama.cpp binaries, but you still need a capable device to run modern models.

Important note on RAM: Language models must be loaded into your device's active memory (RAM). If your device has 4 GB of RAM, you physically cannot run a 4.5 GB model. Moonlight provides smaller models (like Phi-3 Mini) specifically for memory-constrained devices.
